What is Hello, Smileton?
This bi-weekly hour of fun hails from Smileton, a fictional town in Alberta full of zany characters, bizarre businesses, and unusual occurrences. Your hosts, Jason and Liz, present comedy fiction and original music in a variety show format.
How did the show get started?
We started our podcast to showcase our original music. Episodes consisted of a brief light-hearted intro followed by a song. Liz soon joined the show, and the town of Smileton, with its crazy businesses, talking animals, and fantastic happenings, took shape. Now, the show consists of two comedy segments interspersed with Jason’s songs.
